I have followed all the troubleshooting steps and still have not resolved the issue. It says that nightfall is installed but when i got to the halo channel app the old options under nightfall is to buy nightfall, which i already have installed. Looks like this issue has been around a while and im wondering if anyone has found out how to fix this.
