So Phil Spencer recently announced that XO18 is the next big Xbox convention that’s coming back in November and he said they do a lot of big first and third party reveals and other things as well so it’s possible we might get some halo infinite news there. Even if it’s something small like concept art I’d be happy to see anything really.

So we’re clear it absolutely should not be concept art.

I hope we do get some Halo Infinite news, I would settle for knowing how they intend to implement micro transactions, I’m of the opinion that putting that info forward would put a lot of minds to rest. I feel that XO18 will feature a lot on KB and M. The deal with Razer and Warframe will be important and I would like a Razer KB and M for certain games.
I think KB and M would really improve some Halo related games and features. Halo Wars would be better with KB and M imo, and I might actually forge if I could use a KB and M. We’ll know come November 10th if we get Halo Infinite news, but if we don’t I expect loads of other news. I also lazy linked your video
I’m selfish and think we deserved more than we got at e3 this year. I think best case scenario is that at e3 next year they announce Halo infinite will release in November 2019. But pretty sure we’re getting a cross-gen release in 2020. All that is to say is that I don’t think we’ll get any Infinite news at XO18
I think it’s possible because like you said, they have first party announcements to make. When you think of which of their studios even have games far enough into development to release any information on, the only ones that come to my mind are 343i and The Coalition. Turn 10 is a possibility with FM8 but FH4 will still be fresh by then so I kind of doubt they’ll show anything. We could see something from Rare, I believe they’ve been working on something alongside of SoT so that’d be cool. Actually now that I think of it Playground might reveal something. They just released FH4 but they’ve had a second studio working on something for… over a year now? All their other studios that they just bought or are making surely won’t have anything to show, unless they’ve been working on projects before the acquisition that Microsoft has let them continue developing.

If Rare are working on a game it better be a Conker’s Bad Fur Day remake, or a newer title, the “furry guy” has been neglected for far too long imo. I also think enough time has passed for 343i to have something Halo Infinite related, fingers crossed for good news on November 10th.

I wouldn’t get your Hope’s up on Conker. They were asked once if they would make another Banjo game and they said they’d rather make new IP’s than sequels to an existing franchise, I’d assume that also applies to Conker.

I never get my hopes up with developers anymore. Especially developers like Rare where the people that made the originals have moved on. I don’t assume things either. I still think a new Conker is long overdue. Same with Halo information, we need some concerns addressed.

Agreed. I want to know that Infinite won’t have ANY pay to win aspects. It’s good to know there won’t be paid loot boxes but I can’t rest easy until I know what kind of micros we can expect.

I’m 100% with you on that. The rng req system was terrible. I would be very happy for news on the monetisation in Halo Infinite, it’s not my only concern, but it’s probably the one that I’m the most concerned about.
Honestly if they were going to release a beta any sort of reveal would be perfect at XO18 falls perfectly in alignment with there past betas and just typical Halo timeframe.
Plus it’s a perfect way to kick off bringing the convention back with info on one of the most anticipated titles for 2019.

How’d you come up with that? H:I doesn’t have a release date yet.
For all we know it could come in 2020 or 2021.
Knowing this, starting now a beta wouldn’t be of any use, since H:I is probably in too early stages of development.
