Reach has been rendered to Glass… and it was never really a desert planet…
So I don’t MC would go there unless he’s starting a business that specializes in the mass production of glass.

The flood will probably return, there’s still halo rings with flood samples in them and possibly they could be hiding in some lost planets. You can’t completely get rid of the flood.

What would Chief gain from bringing back the flood? An old adversary to fight alongside the Didact? I can however see the flood making a reappearance.
Forrunners return and chief is so desperate he brings back the one thing to stop them the one thing made to stop them the flood he goes to menchinant bias to resurrect them that’s why he’s on the planet in the middle of the arc
