Halo New Content (EOD ARMOR AND STAR WARS)

Hey there everyone! Loophole22 here, and I’ve got some suggestions!

So first off, if you didn’t know already, I am a massive EOD fan, that is my core armor, and all I will ever need. Yet there is no EOD, yet… So, I have some Ideas, While Reach has the best EOD armor by far, I was hoping for it to not be the Mark V (B) armor core alone, and for it to be an event unlock similar to the Tenari: Fractures.

Now, bundle wise, as Halo Infinite likes to put some jokes, I thought it would be funny as a parody of the Star Wars Storm Troopers, which was why I was attracted to the armor as a kid,

The Bundle, should it have all white armor, with black highlights, and a pure black visor, should be “Buckethead” a nod for any Star Wars fan out there.

However, if it were to be black similar to Star Wars Death Troopers
It could be a glossy black armor with green lights highlights
The visor would be blackish green

So I personally belive that the armor should be very Reach styled, as 4, well we don’t talk about 4.
Just like the Aviator, the attached underside to make it like its (horrible) predcessors, the (maniacs) fans who like 4s helmet could be pacfied.

Thanks!

EOD is cool, but I’d also like to see a complete Star Wars collaboration.

Armors based on...

Mandalorian
Grievous
Revan
Second Sister
Kylo Ren
Vader
Galactic Marines
Storm Trooper
Snow Trooper
Swamp Trooper
Scout Trooper
Death Trooper
Clone Trooper
Sith Trooper (Knights of the Old Republic)
Sith Stalker
Jedi Temple Guard
Emperor’s Royal Guard
Emperor’s Shadow Guard
Elite Praetorian Guard
Sovereign Protector
etc.

Personally I would love to have EOD but I really really don’t want to see Star Wars in Halo. I’m not sure I understand the demand for this kind of stuff, Halo is a military science fiction series and it will lose a lot of core fans if it becomes a repository for goofy content.

whiles collabs are cool… let’s not allow this. fortnite did it, and down the line, fortnite just became a billboard advertisement for big boi companies with a meh game attached to it. and given how 343/moneysoft are handling halo… let’s be better safe than sorry

Halo has had goofy content collaborations since Halo 3 (Hayabusa/Katana and Security armor), and it’s been goofy in general since Combat Evolved (e.g. the writing and symbol on Keyes’ uniform, and the Elite hugging scene).
It was never a very realistic sci-fi series.

Also, I wouldn’t say Star Wars is that odd to have a collaboration with for Halo, since they’re both somewhat similar.
They have more in common than Halo and Ninja Gaiden, at least.

It’s sad that companies are so far gone these days that you can’t even hope for collaborations because you know they’ll find some way to ruin them…

Hayabusa was a different thing, collaborating with Star Wars would be a full blown statement not to take the world seriously. I felt like over time Bungie gravitated towards a serious military science fiction tone, like in reach. In my personal opinion, that was where Halo was at its best.

Star wars is a fully different universe with different physics and lore, I’d really just rather not see that. Halo has some goofy easter eggs but I’ve personally never been that crazy about those either.

Halo 3 was the best, in my opinion.
It was fun, and you didn’t have to take it too seriously.

Reach is where the games started being less fun (despite some good additions) and more realistic (despite the armor effects).

As for Star Wars having different physics and lore, it’s not like they’d be adding the Force (though the Didact already had something like that…), and each armor added would likely have its own modified lore in the Halo universe, like the lore that the Ninja Gaiden armor had.

Personally I really do love Halo 3 but it can be fairly cheesy in some places, which is why I appreciated the more somber tone of reach. Never personally understood the flak that Reach got. I suppose some people are more into immersion and some are more into the arcade style fun.

It’s harder for me to be immersed and take the game seriously with this kind of content in there. If the devs had loads of time on their hands, I would be less poo poo about this kind of content, but when the game was just released without a lot of key features, I’m annoyed imagining them spending their time on reindeer ears and stormtrooper armor instead of working on core features, or flushing out the canon armor system which is currently quite lacking.

I dont see this going well. I’d hate it if every time something became popular it appeared in Halo. In Fortnite, every movie that comes out gets a 20$ bundle that stays in the shop for weeks. Its a permanent Ad that you cant skip. If Halo devolved into such marketing I would leave.

As for the EOD armor. I’m sure that (like the rest of the armor) it will be arriving in the shop soon with a 20$ price tag.

i prefer the halo3 armors over the reach armors anyday.

Halo 3 has things that are out of place, but I like that.

About Reach, I thought that it was worse than Halo 3 in most areas.
Map designs, graphics style (the art style was okay though), pacing and equipment (armor abilities).
Also, the story wasn’t presented in a way that was interesting to me.

While I was very interested in seeing Master Chief’s journey continue in Halo CE-3, I didn’t really care about Noble Team.
Halo 4’s story was about the same for me, but some of the reasons weren’t the same.

I understand what you mean though.
I’d rather have them focus on things like playlists, modes, gameplay, progression, pricing, Battle Pass content, challenges, Forge and Firefight, than to have them make joke or collaboration items.

The shop is already quite bad, but if they changed things, it probably wouldn’t be much of an issue for collaboration items to stay in the store a while.

Also, I don’t really see an issue with popular things getting adaptations in Infinite, as long as they don’t do it for everything, even when they don’t work with the game at all, and they make sure to adapt them to the design style of Halo.

Hopefully they’ll listen to the feedback, and that won’t happen…

No I just mean a nod to it with names, similar to the harry potter and avengers refrences

totally agree. other then emile because he looked like a b@mf, i could give a rats *** about noble team. TBF i probably enjoy the story more then you seem like you did, it was good imo non the less… but like it wasnt really anything to write home about. I was more interested in playing that game because i read the fall of reach book then i was to learn about noble team
