Just a quick question, is Halo New Blood a stand alone novel, meaning can I pick it up without having read ALL the previous books? I really want to read it but don’t want to ruin the experience by jumping ahead
Yep, Halo: New Blood is a standalone novel. Has a few connections to previous media, especially Halo 3: ODST but overall, it’s a standalone novel. The only homework you really need to do is play Halo 3: ODST (as the novel is essentially a sequel to the game) however if you haven’t played the game, there isn’t much to worry about as the novel does go over the events of Halo 3: ODST.
