I personally feel that Halo is failing and with each installment, things seem to be going wrong, of course according to fans. Personally my buddies video up top explains his opinions on the game so far but I agree with him a lot. To me I hope Halo can make a great comeback later but as of right now we need to figure what we can do to help 343 rather than argue back and forth on things we hate, we need to ban together to help a series we all love to not fall prey to the shadows of its competitors.
What do you guys think? What can be improved greatly that would keep people coming back?

Lol try hards? Really that is a problem apparently. Maybe its their way of fun. This guy to me sounds completely selfish. How is the game unenjoyable. I’m pretty sure in all Halo’s it was like that. When I was younger, it was pretty tough for me to play Halo 2 against my relatives. I bet the try hards are the ones who really love it and enjoy it. And its ranking, so clearly they are gonna give it their all and want to become like onyx or diamond.

Agreed and im guessing for those who viewed the video apparently dont like what my buddy has to say about it. He loves Halo and enjoys Halo 5 but it could definitely be better for sure.

Well the ranking system I would bet it to blame for the differences in skill. With a lower population it will make the game harder for those to enjoy it .

Either way, his major gripe is the try hards. Alright for one, people who continue to play will have their skills develop. Their aim gets better, faster reflexes, better coordination and timing. Not only that, maybe they haven’t even noticed they got better. Maybe they just sit there casually and playing while not knowing that they are good or have gotten better. This is not 343’s fault. In any multiplayer game, there will always be try hards. Maybe the ranking does affect it, I don’t know. Where I’m ranked is where I feel like I belong in.

While I dont disagree with your statement I just hope things get better and people come back to enjoy the Halo we all loved back in the day because I feel that it is still quite possible with Halo.
LOL…compares Halo 5 to Reach…Reach started the madness. That game was so meh. It only gave us a vision of what forge could be…and now mostly is. If you want Reach…give the Spartans slug mode and make sure they can’t jump a two stair with out a crouch jump. Halo 5 is a significant improvement over Reach. Just get me some game types…sadly 343 dropped the ball at launch. It’s crazy to me that a company that is only in charge of all things Halo couldn’t stick the landing with Halo 5. They knew how important Halo 5’s launch was after the MCC…and still. Not sure who signed off on not having simple playlists and thought that would bring back the halo faithful. I play every night…and love Halo 5…but my drinking of the Kool Aid is over…take notes for your next try 343…and maybe don’t ship with all things slayer and warzone.

Reach was a great game imo. Sure it had its issues but still it added in more content than any other Halo. It would have been better if they added in the 1-50 ranking system and kept the armor abilities as map pickups and lastly they could have just added in a classic playlist that allowed players to enjoy the original formula.
