You just have a vast imagination you should be helping writing storys we are talking about the competetive aspect of the game we ar trying to improve the fun and intensity in the game not talking about the foundations and grass rooots and al this story telling you enjoy just is not relevent and i find it distracting from the point and that is adding dynamic to the game has nothing to do with foundation and grass roots you just limiting the games experience over the years is not what people want im sorry anyways i do enjoy your reads tho but coming from experience in rank i would say the thruster is much loved in the cmpetetive side not a story prespective and frankly should not dictate the outcome of competetive halo playlist ā¦
That Iron Man vs Captain America feel applies to the gameplay as well. I want to feel like a super soldier not a soldier in a super suit.
I would suggest if you want the latter then another series like Titanfall might be better for you.
And you canāt disconnect the multiplayer feel from the lore and world of Halo as that is part of its foundation and how the mechanics were originally designed. Thats why Halo looks and feels the way it does.

why are you putting all this uwanted restrictions how you want this game to feel i honestly believe its a minority group you are speaking for here on the forums . master cheif and thruster is a marrage made in heaven go ask master chief if he would like a thruster ! haha i think you would be shocked.
Thats why i agree on making a new series but this was i!t and it never happened so was kind of suprised its a pick up im not one for having an advantage just dont feel rewarding for me and i hardly pick it up its also not convientent as the objective is priority it can be an investment but too be honest not so much to commit for it just would of made better use if it was standard ops much more action and adventurus adds wanted dynamic for me and many like me also would agree .
I think your friend group has skewed your view of how Halo 5ās gameplay was actually received. Going off of sales and player retention it did not do well at all.
Even these forums are generally friendlier to Halo 4 and 5 than they should be considering how much damage they did to Haloās reputation, gameplay, art style, and story/lore.
Again i implore you to read the brief history of Halo i wrote on here. It should give players like you a lot of context to know why there is so much push back for ideas and systems that were in Halo 4 and 5.
Well this is my point its in the spartan arena where new tech gets developed so thruster belongs in multiplayers as its apart of the halo tech evolution vault the story can also adopt some of the tech but against spartans we are testing new stuff all the time its normal so again we have different views here . what you want to do is not evolution and progressive actauly the opposite im sorry to say but this is how your coming across here. and yes i feel like a super soldier not iron man lol haha
I think the question that should of been made is what we can do to intergrate it in a way thats going to be ballance but accesible to everyone i like the idea that a spartan could get rewarded for getting a perfect kill with thruster access or any of your choice this would be rewarding and have more purpose to your skills rather than just getting a badge ! so if you want it all time you have to chain kills and earn it with your skills ie perfects/reversals etc
You said you were really good and didnt need thruster to kill kkolossal so if you can kill people without thruster than why would we need it as a standard equipment. Also, having thruster and Grapple/Repulsor in your inventory at the same time would be hugely unbalanced.

what does a flood homeworld look like? imagine the gravemind at the core of the flood homeworld. it takes shattered pieces of planets and assembles them into haphazard floating fragments of planetary collisions and the glue is flood viscera
If my Halo lore knowledge is correct. The flood donāt have a home world. Before the Forerunners had the Matle of Responsibility, the precursors, a super advanced race of aliens who were in charge of it.
The Forerunners suprise attack the Precursors killing all of them and blasting the last one into pieces and out into space. Then as the Precursorās DNA traveled through space it mutated into the flood. Somehow after a very long time, it gets back to other planets and starts taking them over. The Forerunners do their thing and build the rings, sacrificing themselves to save the galaxy.
While i love the flood i would feel cheated about their story in Halo CE-3 if they came back now. Their story is done and bringing it back will really feel like milking it.

The flood was great not that pretty to look at but i do feel Halo realy needs a new fresh chapter in another time in the future and present with new tech and great story and worlds also species for a new generation lets move away from the past and add to the Halo fan base as i do feel some of the older fans are holding this AAA game back from its true potential/form

Again you miss the point nobodys is being rude but YOU and just because the_cool_spoon reads all the Halo books and is a nice guy is not relevent because what matters here is your intention and view of how Haloās future which from what im reading is not going anywhere just dwelling about the past and the books you have ivested in reading i can undertand you have invested alot of time reading and alll that but when it come to moving away from all that time you have invested in reading it become a problem! it seems welll i am here to change that mindset and finaly move on you have to be BOLD to be a great sucess.
I know i dont read all the story lines but i have always been playing the game and thats where my expo come in from the Arena where i was made not in the books buddy and can you please stop with your small talk thanks much apreciated no offence taken and hope you can just chill and try to understand the competetive aspect of the game.
Just for clarity i donāt read the books and i would prefer the books never exisited as the way they depict characters is way different from the games. Thats why Halo 4 and 5s Chief and Cortana feel like completely different people from there CE-3 counterparts.
I do just happen to know a lot of the lore though which may come from the books but i havenāt read them.

after all this time the flood definitely have a homeworld. there is at least one entire planet the size of earth that the flood have completely 100% colonized and inhabited. this would be a grotesque, mutated and twisted place with unique appeal that only the flood can provide.
that feeling of infestation the flood invokes is part of what is missing from 343ās halo campaigns.
