ONI in my opinion is one of the best factions in halo. Yes they technically are “good guys” but they act as their own branch because they are always working on a secret project. Sadly though only the books provide heavy lore on ONI and I think that needs to change. There is really so many things they could do. They could follow ONI’s special branch of spartens, do a story arc where ONI betrays the UNSC, or some story about the secretive experiments they perform. Some notable already existing storyline include, their experiments on the flood that backfire, their secretive sparten 3 project, and many others. ONI really has a lot of potential.

This novel shows the brilliance of human nature and the horror of flood vividly.
I’ll never say no to more ONI content. The more disturbing the better.
One of my favourites is Hunt the Truth
In my opinion ONI really shines in the book ghosts of Onyx showing that they viewed spartens as just expendable super soldiers. It really shows ONI’s true colors.
