Has the Halo music gotten better or worse over the years?
The music is decent but I think the music from back in the day (Halo 1 - 3) was a lot better then it has been the past few games.
I think the music for H5 sounds great so far. I don’t think it is getting worse at all.

I’m listening to “Halo Canticles” as I write this. It’s the old and the new and everything that Halo music should be. Jinnouchi: A+.
Halo’s soundtrack as gradually gave me the chills after each installment. There’s something about it that makes the hair on my neck stand up
While i like some songs in Halo 4. The soundtrack as a whole is a let down compared to Halo CE, 2, and 3. Halo 5 has definitely brought back some of the Marty O’Donnell charm. The sound designers have done a much better job this time around.

Yeah I totally agree. I’m loving the soundtrack. I bought the vinyl lp of it, and the cd. Just found out there’s a collectors edition of it coming out in November so as a fan, had to pre order it lol
Its a good sountrack, its still true to the original and its evolving with the games.
It’s about the same since there’s reused tracks that are revamped for the newer games. Good music overal and very iconic
The music for this game franchise is and always will be amazing.
I think that the music in Halo 4 got worse, but Halo 5’s is much better!
I thought 4’s was okay, but hearing the old themes brought back and built upon. I think H5 has a great OST.
