Halo multiplayer issues

I have been having Halo 5 multiplayer issues. My Xbox is wired to an ethernet cable, the detailed statistics for my internet connection was better than Xbox’x minimum requirements, and it seems to work fine on other mulitplayer games for the most part. It was fine when I first got the game, which was a few days before free to play weekend and it was fine. Every since free to play weekend started, REQ’s wouldn’t load, my REQ points would show as 0, The game would lag, sometimes so bad it would kick me out. I’ve tried restarting my router, but it did’t work and I’ve tried plugging the ethernet cable into another port. By the way I am running on an open NAT type. I was just wondering if it was on my end or if it was on 343’s end. I think it’s the heavy load on the servers, because of free to play weekend.

same problem here but I think it was the heavy traffic to be honest…

I saw free download week and thought -Yoink!-… here comes lag

I’m still getting it. Some slight rubberbanding in arena has cost me more than one game. and I’m running a 75/15 connection. some hanging and freezing (in fractions of a second) have been making it feel off since this June/July update. Wonder what I can do to suss that out.
