Halo multiplayer game types

In halo 6 i would like there to be a playlist, or at least a single map, where there is no sprint and no thrusters and the map is designed for a non sprint gameplay mode. I dont want to play without sprint/thruster on a map that is made for sprint/thrusters.

I think it’s in 343’s best interest if they designed for both styles of play… find an optimum sense of map scale that compliments both. Or design modular areas within the maps, that can utilize Forge pieces/features to reshape or block off areas of the map to accommodate smaller scale/OG movement or smaller scale Arena games respectively (if the map happens to be larger)…

It could be done… it would require some innovative thinking from 343, but that’s why they’re in the business of game development.

Design maps for larger and smaller scale gametypes… truly modular, configurable maps/environments. Imagine a (somewhat) more developed and scale appropriated central area of The Battle of Noctus… that has geometry that would complement Arena game modes, as well as in full WZ (or ideally BTB games as well), without environmental restrictions added via Forge. Or Attack on Sanctum… parts of the central structure, being used as Arena maps in addition to having WZ/BTB capabilities when the rest of the map applied.

Modular map design, giving different sub-communities of the Halo fan-base a maximized experience with a set amount of (configurable) environments. Maybe environments can be configured multiple ways. Maybe a map like Empire or Eden (purely for example) is actually just a part of much larger roof-top BTB focused map. All larger multiplayer environments could be designed to provide multiple TYPES of experiences with a little bit of modification and this alone would make them very VALUABLE pieces of content.
