Are they going to be adding SWAT and infection gamemodes? Also why can’t I just queue up for one specific mode? For example, Oddball is cool but in small amounts, if I’m in the mood for slayer or one flag capture the flag I would love to just matchmake for those modes. Does anyone else agree? Or maybe you like how it queues up all the modes for you?
I hope, and expect, they will be adding more game modes and playlists in the full release, or at least very soon post-launch. Right now, I feel there’s very little variety, and compared to older games with easily three times the maps and twice as many modes, this definitely feels like a beta still.
It’s unclear whether they’ll have more at launch, but one of the games promotional screenshots does show a spartan with an infected sword so I imagine they’re at least working on infection. I hope they are adding all the other classic modes as well; KOTH, Slayer variants like SWAT and Snipers, Assault (and Grifball), and some of the other modes like Domination, Extraction, Ricochet, Headhunter, etc. would also be great.
