im getting the same message 'you need this update, but we can’t get it at the moment. Try again in a while (error code 0x8b050033)
Will try restarting my console to see if that works

I saw in a tweet saying to try close the game and the insider hub and if that doesn’t work hard reset the console

I just pressed the xbox button on my controller and restarted it that way!
Man this was only for Xbox. Hoped that today on my birthday would have been able to play on my PC. Bummer. Oh well, enjoy it guys

Actually if you go to the halo insider section it asks you what you’d prefer to play on and flights on pc are an option, you also get to choose when to play (days ie mon-fri) and what time your available to play!
Hey guys. I’m not even gonna lie. The bulldog is almost like the mauler. And the pulse cabine is a little tricky in comparison to the og carbine. Overall, the bots on marine difficulty, are pushovers.

Just had the pleasure of jumping in to the bot mode and weapons drills.
Here’s some things I noticed:
-Frame rate drops in Weapons Drills, flickering screen during loading and pause screen, plus scenery pops in rather than being preloaded.
-No Mouse support?
(Could be just my mouse that’s incompatible though! Logitech G90 or something)
-Slightly convoluted way of equipping custom armour settings - Toggling the right stick to enable after exiting the selection menu seems unnecessary.
-No Thruster Jets to start off with? I see that there’s an option for them in the config, so all is not lost it seems!
-B button for sliding instead of bumping the left analogue stick: I hope this is configurable. Will delve a bit deeper on my next play.
-Bots are really not much of a challenge at this stage. (But then H5 Firefight’s early modes’ AI was also quite easy to begin with)
On series S, the multiplayer bot skirmish looks gorgeous, and plays super smooth. No frame drops at all.
I can’t test it on a 1440p screen, or enable HDR, or higher refresh rates. But it looks and runs great in 1080p with 100hz motion compensation on a 9 year old middle range Samsung 3D tellybox.
The “red plasma wall” shield thingy and overcharge consumables are implemented well. Grenades are satisfyingly quick to lob and explode (the slight delay of Halo 5 grenades exploding always kind of bothered me!), though the splinter grenades don’t seem any different to standard grenades at this point. Be good to see a bit of shrapnel or something! The weapons look, sound and feel powerful and responsive. One thing I’d like is the option to toggle semi and automatic modes on the pistol. Are weapons modifiable in any way?
Another slight issue I have is with all the over-decoration and obscuration of vision in weapon zoom modes. Could we have the option to disable it, or change the opacity or colour?
It’s a bit distracting.
Overall though, I think things are looking every bit as fun as Halo 5, and more. This is just the tip of the iceberg, right ahead!
Can’t wait to try out more!

I can’t wait to finally play this game! I’ve been hyped for it since I heard it was coming! Hoping to get into one of the flights but if not I’m gonna be running it constantly after release regardless!!

it seems like they’re going to improve the ranking system in infinite so I hope we get something like that
