Xbox One and Series S seem to really be holding this game back. I really would have liked to see a larger scale and more players in multiplayer. Is what is it I guess. I’m still definitely looking forward to playing it soon.

Omg, this looks dope! I guess I’m really just a fan that doesn’t need perfection because I’m still happy with the entire masterchief collection but I will say I only started online play starting with reach and then halo 5. Infinite looks incredible and if play is at least on par with Guardians I’m fully down for it!!!

When you set expectations this high, you’re pretty much setting yourself up to be disappointed. It’s like going to a random movie and saying “this will probably be the best movie of the year” and then you start holding the movie to that standard.
Let Infinite come out and enjoy it for what it is. It doesn’t have to be GOTY. Being a good Halo game should be enough.

Halo has always been received with high expectations and, most of the time, Halo has met said expectations. Infinite is, judging from what has been shown, a very ambitious (I dare say the most ambitious) project with the Halo label on it.
My expectations are simple and Infinite is, hands down, running for GOTY.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m pretty happy with the Master Chief collection but Infinite is what I’ve been waiting for since the trailer. This is, after all, where the old fans will converge with the new ones in the true Halo experience.

The devs have really outdone themselves with this. The poor graphics in the previous gameplay demo have nothing on this beauty! The intensely comprehensive customization is truly jaw-dropping. And the fact is that 24 player matches along with chaotic battlefields filled to the brim with vehicles and gunfire sounds really epic. Having a personal AI sounds new and engaging. I had my doubts about Halo Infinite multiple times, but gameplay based progression and players starting on equal footing have rid me of my most pressing doubts.
343, we have had some rough times, but Infinite is looking as good as Halo can be.
