I remember watching a movie about Halo a couple years ago, but it wasn’t particularly good. I would love to see a Halo movie set before Masterchief came into the picture, or maybe following another Spartan. Anything really! Would anyone else be interested?
Tbh, I’d be happy with any halo movie, as long as it was at a decent level of quality. A movie focused on the insurrection could work, but it definitely wouldn’t be my first choice of events to see on the big screen.
Are you talking about Halo: Nightfall? It reminded me of something that you’d see on the Syfy channel, but I thought it was alright for what it was. I think there’s still a Halo show in the works so we’ll see if you get your wish or not.
Maybe you’re talking about Halo Forward Unto Dawn or Halo Nightfall, also I’ve watched a fanmade movie about the ODSTs, was pretty nice…
Go to youtube and search on Halo: Landfall. These were a handful of promotional shorts (strung together for about a 10 or 15 minute run time) made for Halo 3 by then-nobody Neill Blomkamp with the help of Weta Studios and the benevolent overlordship of Peter Jackson. In a way it served as an advertisement to Hollywood that some pretty big names were ready to roll if a deal could be put together. Wired magazine did a really interesting article on what went into that deal and why it ultimately fell apart. So if you want some idea of what a Neill Blomkamp Halo might have looked like then watch Landfall and follow it up with District Nine, his feature debut. That’s what we missed out on. Largely due to Microsoft greed, if Wired is right.
Yes it was Forward Unto Dawn
Well, I am still dreaming of a high budget Halo movie. Halo FUD was the best we have gotten in my opinion.

Halo nightfall is all I know, and it was honestly very good I assumed since released to video game would be cheesy but hey even wife watched it with me good graphics too!
While it’s not a movie, Halo: Legends is really good. It’s anime instead of live action, but has beautiful little snippets of the halo universe. If you aren’t a huge anime fan, you could watch the Halo: Evolutions animations, they have a comic book style, and are based of the stories from the book with the same name.

Also the live-action trailers of Halo 3: ODST and Reach are awsome!!
I mean I would like to but I am mainly too worried about it destroying the franchise. look at Star Wars for example its been a big debate that they continued the franchise.
A movie would be cool but we are going to see a 10 Episode Halo TV Series. Each episode will be an hour long and I believe they start filming this Fall.
