While watching Star Wars last night I saw a preview for a world of Warcraft movie. I’m telling yall Halo will be next, give it 5 years and they will make a full blown movie out of the franchise. And I’m not talking about another Foward Into Dawn but a multi million dollar movie that will be in theatres. Imagine all of 1-3 in a single movie, awesome action scenes of the chief fighting by himself against the best CGI created flood, it will be epic and its gunna be made mark my words.

Oh and it has what every thing you would want in a movie. Superman like main character (Master Chief), Aliens (covenant), Zombie like characters (The Flood), somewhat romance between chief and cortana, and best part of it all non stop action.
Though I would love to see a huge Halo film, I’m not willing to bet they’d just retell the entire trilogy. Maybe a prequal? I don’t really care as long as its not some forerunner based film.

One of the best parts of the story is 1-3 though, and this would be to the main public not just our halo fans. If you don’t know the lore the prequels wouldn’t be as interesting cause you wouldn’t know what’s going on. but I 100% agree with keeping the fore runner part out.
Sounds like a good idea. Maybe it could be some sort of spin-off to add to the lore? Maybe a movie about one of the Spartan Fireteams, or the Forunner-Human War.
Didn’t they try for ages and issues kept popping up so they gave up and went with small projects?..

There’s also legends and fall of reach
They could make a movie trilogy out of the game trilogy. Halo CE is already in the form of a book. Books turn into movies all the time.
The real question is: Will the movie be made with forge?
They should just make a tv series on the whole war and have some major battles (Harvest, Reach) as movies.
I think we deserve a killer halo film come on halo is one of the most famous science fiction video games of all time and the story is my all time favorite… Im thinking about a fall of reach kind of thing? Seeing the chief become the savior of humanity in the big screen with a good cast would be a dream…
I would kill to see an actual big tI’m halo movie not like nightfall or forward onto dawn. Don’t get me wrong those wernt bad just thought they could do better and waiting to see when this halo tv show will be out
I think the universe is too big for a movie. It would be better doing a tv series like game of thrones, walking dead, etc
They tried to make a Halo movie several years ago with Neil Blomkamp Directing (off the back of District 9) and Peter Jackson producing. It all fell through when Microsoft allegedly refused to give over too much control to the two studios that were funding it and the project collapsed. Blomkamp has been making Halo movies in disguise since! Anyone seen the Halo in Elysium?
The’ve certainly said that they would… A few times now actually.
My advice: don’t hold your breath.
Halo movies would be sick if they are made right and if they follow the high quality plot of the first 3 games. They could be messed up easily though
