Hello everyone my name is King. i was wondering what all of you thought about all of the halo movie attempts that have come out so far?
I fore one loved the short stories from Halo Legends however the other two movies were sub-par.
Lets start with Halo Forward onto Dawn. This movie seemed really rushed and didn’t live up to its potential. The story line was an interesting idea however i feel that master chief could have had a bit more screen time than the 5 minutes that he got. The title of the movie was completely misleading seeing as how it had nothing to do with the ship and instead took the road of being directed t words latskey( forgot how to spell his name).
Halo Night fall was yet another attempt to introduce a new character. The visuals were okay but a bit buggy when the Hunter worms swarmed. They didn’t utilize the training that Randall Aiken received in the spartan 2 program. He would have the training to deal with situations where he would be without electricity.
How do you guys think they could take their mistakes with these two movies to help them with later movies/ tv shows and what would you like to see them about?
i would like to see movie that features the previous operations of Noble Team
The movie’s name isn’t misleading, it’s referencing the poem written on the plaques at the academy. Also, the first cutscene in each part did depict the actual ship.
As for the what the actual movie had, it did have some clichés but overall it was a decent representation of the war’s early years. You have to remember that although it was meant to generate hype for Halo 4, it was also geared towards people that weren’t Halo fans but had an interest in what the story had to offer.

For the record, Halo Forward Unto Dawn was about more than the ship, as the name was also supposed to have a double-meaning where “foward unto dawn” was more metaphorical as well. It was something to do with Lasky’s character.
i want to get a movie that involves Blue team or even following a group of ODST who battle along side chief like in halo 2
Points to create a Halo movie/tv-show:
- They need to fix the general story first. - No TV-show possible as of yet due to the cost and little support TV-shows have. - Movie needs to be closer and relatable to the general Halo audience(No BS side story to introduce a character) - Movie needs to be entertaining so Halo fans would enjoy
If we get another movie, I think it needs to be as well written as Hunt the Truth, though I would want it to fit in with what we know of the Halo universe from other sources, rather than seeming to be a left-over from a deleted script. I felt that Hunt the Truth had a lot more intensity and compelling characters than either of the existing movies. It also avoided many of the tired cliches that the other movies included.
