Please 343. Don’t let the Halo series become something it is not. Don’t take the yoinking peer pressure from the CoD series to comform to “Standard” FPS elements which claim to bolster “The best selling xbox game of all time”. Such audacious and offensive statements of the CoD series aim to trash other game’s reputaions. I would have never expected a statement like this to be put forth on a game cover, even if it IS true. So please 343 (Microsoft), Dont ship a game based on what “sells”. Ship a game that is in every sense of the word, HALO. We never wanted a Call of Duty. If thats what we really wanted we would have stopped playing Halo Before Halo 3 was released.

Call of Duty actually has many good, and even some great, ideas. What makes it a bad series, then? It’s repetitiveness, and resistance to change. They’ve been essentially the same game with a new skin, every year. You’re pretty well paying for a glorified map-pack.
That doesn’t mean that any idea Call of Duty touches is inherently bad. Until you play Halo 4 for yourself, stop acting like it’s the end of the world.
It might be. It might turn out absolutely terribly, and Halo dies as a franchise. Of course, on the other hand, it might turn out to be the best thing to happen to Halo.
I think people are right about halo becoming COD this sprint and perks is just copying
in fact I think 343 should take guns out of halo 4 cause they are in COD too /sarcasm
