Most retailer don’t find a market in the larger sizes. I too feel your pain in being a large guy.

More and more retailers are getting their figure stock from McFarlane, Target, Toysrus, walmart, Kmart, Gamestop should have plenty available by launch. Bungie has always been lax on their store’s inventory, I think it’s just an after thought at sometimes.

Some of this looked to be on the horizon with halo3 but then alot of the higher end manufacturers started dropping lines, I think due to the economic down turn we saw in general. I’d loved to see official replicas and props ( I think the 405th would too) but you need to have high end buyers and they’re just not ready for it right now.

The community boards over at spawn.com http://board.spawn.com is the best place for feedback about the current line of halo action figures being produced. When McFarlane first started producing the halo 3 figures I had a very similar ideal about being able to custom order your spartan from your in game selection, I just don’t think it’s feasible financially for them to do so. There are customizers out there that can do it for you though, if you really want your spartan.

I’m not a fan of them, I’d love a halo music box though.

Square Enix is doing a new larger figure line , maybe they will do some of them you listed. Diamond Toys is also introducing a new cortana statue so maybe they’ll do some others too.

I’m with you on the pins, I like them too. My thought was a pin set of every medal you can get in the game. Maybe even make them hanging medals like the USA military actually hands out. That would be a set to behold.

already coming, more action clix in the form of reach action clix. Probably not any large vehicles yet though.

Also coming, there’s a scorpion tank and a ghost on the way and I just saw new repaints of previously released rc halo toys.

I’d like to see more halo merchandise talk here but right now there are two other boards where all the collectors I know of go to.
