Halo MCC won't install Installation stopped error

Edit 2 - for those following this the iiNet rep on whirlpool posted to say that the issue should be fixed now - http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2460225#r48505687. If anyone can confirm please post below.

Edit - there appears to be an issue with Australian ISP’s iiNet and Internode (fyi Internode is owned by iiNet) that is most likely the cause of this issue. Just wondering if anyone is experiencing issues try to install the digital version or the patch/s since the latest patch rolled out. Currently I’m getting error 0x87e0000f when I try to reinstall the game

I’ve checked the Xbox error code page and have confirmed that my console has the latest firmware (I’m not using NXOE), that I am connected to Live and have tried multiple times since the latest patch went live.

I’ve also done multiple had resets, removed and re-added my profile to my console and have restored to factory defaults.

All other games and apps that I’ve tried to install have installed without issue. Xbox support Live chat haven’t been very useful so I’m going to try talking to them over the phone tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone else had experienced the same issue I’m having and if anyone had fixed it

This is the same issue I have been having but with a disc version. I’ve done all that and even gone out and bought a new MCC to see if the disc was the issue and still it won’t work.

I saw your post on one of the other topics about this. I really hope we’re not left hanging with a game we now can’t even play.

Also, what region are you in? Trying to figure out if that effects it at all

Hey 343, are you going to acknowledge us? Maybe a “thanks for letting us know, we are looking into it” as a minimum? To be absolutely clear, we cannot play a game we have paid for and it appears the reason for this is an update YOU published.

For the Australians having this problem, do you happen to have iiNet or Internode as your ISP? Apparently there’s an issue with Xbox Live on those ISPs at the moment that’s preventing people from installing the Master Chief Collection properly.

I’m with iiNet and Internode is owned by iiNet

I’m also with iinet. I’ve got everything updated except multiplayer is stuck at 63% so I can only play campaign.

Thanks for the updates Soulside86 and BamSaidTheLady - I’m with iinet too. So apologies to 343 for the rant about them above :slight_smile: Have any of you had a problem pre-loading Halo 5?

Hey Awesome, according to the information I got from iiNet it was only affecting some newer content. I’ve got Halo 5 pre-loaded without issues so it shouldn’t be a problem but I did that before the issues with MCC started. I have been told that the issue should be fixed now but I can’t check til I get home tonight.

looks like it’s still broken. I’ve retested tonight and still the same issue

Edit - try a hard reset, my download is making progress now

try a hard reset of your xbox one, that got mine moving

I’ve got the same problem. It stops at 3% and I’m with iiNet.

I left it overnight to finish and came to find it back on installation stopped this morning
