Hey everyone what do we think of the MCC S8 armors? I personally think they’re so cool and can’t wait to get my hands on them when S8 launches!!!
Some of them are still wacky I would say but they honestly work a lot better than I thought they would have. I was skeptical how they would actually look in game as something that “doesn’t look Halo” but yeah, in game they surprisingly look good and blend in really well. I personally am still not gonna use them but I think they pulled it off despite the mixed reaction. Wearing a full set of the new armor still doesn’t look right to me, I would not be able to tell it’s from a Halo game, but mixing with some of the OG armor I think makes it look better
Personally I love it, the Cornith helmet IMO deserved to be in Halo in some way as the Spartan Program was based on Greece and the Cornithian Helmet would have fit so well in the first place. I love almost all of them, the only one I am iffy on are the ones with faces and skulls. The face ones don’t fit with Halo’s aesthetic at all, Personally I would have gone the rought of the Nordic helmets with just visor faces or a more runic style to the face design, while the Skulls just seem odd, they work but they feel off to me in some way that I do not know. Otherwise i love them all
I kinda wished they would of put more then just new helmets in for the halo reach armor would of been better to have more armor then just helmets.
I love it all. However, when you use a female Spartan voice, the armor is all masculine. If there was one more set added to mimic the female body shape for each style (Greco-Roman, Medieval, Norse) then it would be better. Valkrye style for Norse, Armored Maiden for Medieval, and Wonder Woman look for Greco-Roman.
Surprised lots of people here like it, but I agree with them. The new armour is awesome.
I love them. This is the same franchise that gave us floating hearts, confetti explosions upon death, katana swords and samurai armor, ghost rider skulls in our helmet and all kinds of outlandish Easter eggs within the campaign that aren’t “canon”. Halo has always been and always will be goofy, that’s part of its charm. Embrace it or get over it and toggle them off.
I hated them at first but the Greek armor set has quickly grown on me. If you pair them up with the Fireteam Raven legs or something similar you can actually make a really neat looking alternate universe super soldier.
Yes they are awesome. The armor descriptions are pretty intense too lol
