This video is mostly just ranting but in the last 3 mins of the video he explains that you can get a refund for the game if you bought the digitally downloaded version. Also he leaves twitter links to 3 different 343 devs in the discription. If you bought a hard copy of the game (Like I did). Then you can message the developers and ask them “nicely” if there is some way to get a refund for a game that is broken and not being fixed. This game does not work as advertised and I want my money back. I don’t want this game anymore, I don’t want to wait, I don’t want to be patient, I just want my money back.
I’m thinking about getting a refund also, its a broken game and the last patch did not fix it. I’ve lost all confidence in 343. I’m not buying halo 5 after this.
Yeah sadly I was stupid and bought the hard copy, because I figured I could trust 343 to make a decent game, guess I was wrong you really showed me 343. I also am never buying another 343 product.

Soo annoyed with halo mcc! Really enjoyed all the halos up until 4 ( which was cod in space suits ) … especially halo two which is when live gaming began for me … so you can imagine my frustration now I cant play anything online at all … Tempted to try for my money back! … xbox has f****D it again!

No need to call the kid a little snot, in my personal experience, it’s marines who are the biggest pieces of -Yoink- I’ve ever met.

I’ll have to check this out, thanks for sharing. I just finished chatting with Xbox support, and they said 343 hasn’t offered a refund policy right now.

i think Dangerboy was just making a cheeky off the cuff comment, not insulting you directly.
I should report you for over-reacting to such a small thing, but i wont because that seems pretty petty to me…
Anyway, to get on topic. I will not be asking for a refund because one part (albeit a HUGE part) of the game is broken. The campaigns work fine, customs work ok too. Just the campaigns were worth $60 and they will get the matchmaking fixed so i’ll just work for campaign achievements until that happens.
oks to the people going and getting yopur refund go ahead get your refund quit the game cause in my honest opinion and i aint trying to be -Yoink- im simply speaking the truth of the matter the decisions to get a refund and quit the game are childish no game is perfect at launch yes halo mcc’s issues were not the norm for bugs at launch however it is going to get fixed, i can state that confidently as ive statede in other posts it does take time and patience however that said buy quiting the game buy getting a refund all your doing is showing yah have given up and that yah quit if thats the case you were never a true fan of halo period i can state that being a true fan myself, now why is it i choose not to give up get a refund simply cause of this next statement, Never give up, Never Backdown, Never Surrender. yeah i myself am upset buy the state of the game but it aint meaning im gonna quit think on my words if yah dont like it thats your problem, but if yah find truth in my words perhaps youl think twice about what your saying
Halo is still one of the best games I’ve played. It is hard when your a new company to get things right. The multiplayer still works and maybe it is slow. Who CARES! A little more work and this game could be one of the best sold on x box!
