As I said in the title, the PC version of Halo MCC doesn’t work on Gamepass offline, well technically it will launch fine, but once it has, I go to the games themselves and they won’t launch offline, both CE and Reach work fine when I’m online, no problems there. But if I launch MCC offline then when I go to resume either games campaign, it will say I’m missing both games dlc, which I am not. The problem is I only have internet access sporadically, so when I don’t, then no Halo for me…I’m not seeing this issue anywhere else online so I’m wondering if it’s a problem on my end. Before CE released, Reach worked fine offline, it’s done this since the release of CE. When I went to download CE, it downloaded the entirety of the MCC again, which was a problem, as with the current internet, it took a few days to redownload, that might be related, I’m not sure.

Seems that Halo MCC from the MS Store lacks full offline support. The Xbox app says that you can only play offline if you launch the game first. https://i.imgur.com/3wJ5NFf.png Don’t know the situation in Steam though.

OK, thanks for the response and sorry for the saltiness. I assumed that was the case as well. The strange thing is, before Reach released, Halo CE would work fine offline (as do all other games I have played), so I figured it would continue to work like that, it seems it’s either a bug or Microsoft quietly changed things. I’m surprised more haven’t brought it up tbh. I believe it works fine offline on Steam, to be fair, they have bought the game and Steam is a massively superior store in every way, except for not having the fabulous Game Pass of course. No probs, I don’t intend on playing Reach’s campaign until they fix the sound anyway.
Have the same problem. I can’t play my campaigns in offline, with airplane mode enabled. With Halo 4 being the finale release, it would be nice if we can play offline. Have both xbox app enable with the option for my PC to have offline permission. Other games, such as Halo wars 1 & 2 do work and all the Halo games I got were from the microsoft store. It will be great if we get an update to fix this, but a small sized update (hopefully).
