Halo MCC PC "Missing Content" Bug Microsoft Store

Hello,
i have the gamepass ultimate and i downloaded the MCC together with Reach. When i go into the Game and want to do anything in Reach it says “Missing Content: You don’t own or haven’t downloaded the necessery files yet.” Which i already did. Pls help!

Same problem and this is the first post I found with the exact same problem. Also downloaded it through the Game Pass and couldn’t find a fix yet. Probably just gonna download it again and reinstall it…

Having the same exact issue as well. I’ve done the update for the Reach campaign multiple times and still get the message “content not installed” but at the top of the screen where your prioritize the various games, it says Reach content is installed. Really trying to avoid redownloading the whole MCC again…

The same error appears also to me: i’ve tried to reinstall the game multiple times without success, and also to reinstall the Xbox App (i’m using the game pass), the microsoft support response was that the Halo Reach game is not included in the Xbox Game Pass…
The Store said that the game is correctly installed!

Same thing here! Using game pass on pc, the game is launching but when trying to start the campaign it says “Missing Content: You don’t own or haven’t downloaded the necessary files yet.” In the Microsoft store it says this product is installed. You can play halo: the master chief collection with xbox game pass for pc or buy it to own. I tried to reinstall it but still not working.

I think MS is just pretending that’s available on game pass just to get you so annoyed you just go to steam and buy it there… At least their store works properly.

same on steam i read on forum

Why would they announce everywhere that you can play with game pass if not? This is false advertising. It smells of lawsuit!

Then I guess its wait a few months for everything to get ironed out then. =/

Guys you can play Reach with xbox game pass on PC. I found out what is the missing content. It’s the English language that is missing. If you change the game voice language to french for exemple the campaign is launching for me this way. You can keep the text language to English so at least you’ll have subtitle to understand. I found out this by going to steam forum and lot of people mentioned the need to download a language pack from the properties of the game in order to be able to play. So I tried to change the language in the settings menu and the missing content error didn’t pop up when I launched the campaign. It wasn’t false advertising that you can play reach with xgp I can confirm.

I have the same problem but i buy the game and the Reach dlc by miself

My situation is I bought the Halo reach and it made me download Halo MMC. Reach is being called an add-on at 10 something MBs and the MMC download is 21.74GB which takes about 8 hours to download. Once I launched that I played for 49 minutes finished a level quit and saved then exited to desktop. I go to play it again and it’s gone. Although my hard drive space is the same size it was after downloading the game. My achievements still show as well. So now I’m downloading the whole game again and in the morning it should be ready. But I’m trying to figure out what I’m supposed to do to keep this from happening again. I have crap internet out here in the sticks. Not to mention as I said before the space on my drive indicates the game is somewhere. Just don’t know where

The problem seems to come from a faulty sync of your Microsoft account’s rights and permissions. The solution: (1) log out of the Windows Store, (2) log in to the Windows Store, (3) launch the Halo MCC. In my case, I’ve also logged out of my Windows session after (1), launched the game before (2) and the relaunched the game after (2). It solved the problem.

I’m trying to follow that you are saying but sun a bit confused. I’m on the series X and I have a disc copy. Do I sign out from my profile, then go to the Microsoft store , and then launch the game from there?
im going nuts trying to figure this crap out.
