While playing MCC halo reach on PC my ISP router keeps dropping and keeps reseting. I’m not sure what to do. I’ve reset the router and it continues to happen. I’ve called my ISP and there’s nothing that can be done on their end. Any help would be appreciated on how to keep connection.

same thing happens to me every time I’m in a game or joining a game, you’re not the only one

yeah can’t tell you what it is, seems probably more net coding on their end.
Same exact thing is happening to me. I am completely unable to play multiplayer at all. I am beyond frustrated with this game.
This is <em>____not</em> an issue with my router, my PC or my internet.
I can play multiplayer in any other game on my Steam library absolutely fine with zero connection problems.
So maybe it’s an issue with EAC? Nope, can play Fortnite perfectly fine with no connection problems and Fortnite and MCC use the exact same Easy Anti-Cheat system.
Okay so is it an issue with Microsoft? No to that as well. I own an Xbox One and have MCC on Xbox One, and I can connect to matches perfectly fine on MCC on Xbox One
Something is wrong with this game. It is not people’s modems or routers. It is not people’s computers. It is the PC version that is flawed. So flawed that it actually somehow causes countless people’s routers to completely reset itself, which is something I have never seen any video game do in my entire 29 year span of an avid PC gamer.
There was a setting on my router that I modified a few years ago regarding a type of refreshing (DHCP, lease expiration, IP changing- something along those lines). It made it impossible to play BO3 without being dropped every hour, the default setting, even in solo where a connection was still necessary.
Just a suggestion, of course, and a good thing to check if you haven’t already.

Yup this started for me on Wednesday. Had ISP come out as they saw major errors. They checked everything, and it was a good.l they went as far as replaced all wires they could. I can play any other game and not get DCd. Play PC MCCR and my Gateway disconnects from the internet. So I called my ISP again and they see no issue this time. So I go a day w/o playing and no issues. Play for a few hours and Bam disconnected. So the hypothesis of it being the game send correct. Reach on the 360 back in the day required port forwarding to work effectively so I’m going to attempt to do that and see if that makes a difference. Here’s the link if anyone else wants to try it.
Same with me. It dropped a couple times when i was on wi-fi. Figured i needed a direct connection. Couldnt get ethernet, so i got a powerlink adapter. My connection doubled in speed, and is very stable everywhere else. It dropped 5 more times yesterday when i was playing halo. I really want to fix it, because i want to stream this game really bad.
Also to note, my connection almost never dropped on wifi, it was just a couple times when i played halo.
Man I feel yeah I was just playing it first before I streamed just in case and I’m hard line in on my gateway. It’s definitely the game and not us
Same here its been happening to me as well. Is it our connection or is it the game itself that’s causing the issue?
Same here, it seems to be a problem on their end. All other games play fine on my pc and internet. I hope they fix it soon, very frustrating.
