Isn’t is funny how many people are pi$$ing and moaning about the problems which have surfaced since launch of Halo: MCC?
This may not be true for all but I’m guessing the majority of moaners were never there at the beginning through Halo 2 and 3 online otherwise they would know they despite the problems faced, they were always overcome, sure sometimes with delay but when I look back I don’t remember sat there crying at how bad life is!
I say, take your momma’s teet from your mouth, put the rattle down and be patient.
Rome and Reach were not built in a day and the sort of problems which arise from a few million people wanting to play at the same time can obviously cause delays.
These sort of issues can only be realised when you have that many people online at once, but 24 hours is not a long time in the grand scheme of things.
My fondest memories of playing online games is Halo 3, this is where I cut my teeth and what really got me into playing online.
People say ‘it isn’t the winning, it is the taking part’… Usually and in any other case I would say BULLLLSHIIIT, but with this, with Halo… I say… Yeah, you might actually be right.
I was lucky enough to get a few games last night and played capture the flag ON MONGOOSES!
It was grade A- AWESOME! Sure, I got the winning point and we won, but I wouldn’t have minded losing.
That game was freaking fun… Right now I want to be at home, not at work writing this…
But I do it in the hope that you cut the guys at 343i some slack… They’re not rank amateurs, these are people who have grown up on Halo just as we have and who pour their heart and soul into it, we’re hurting at having to wait but imagine letting millions of people down with problems beyond your control.
Perhaps we’ll be rewarded for the patience, who knows. I’d like a skull that when you shoot someone, they automatically moonwalk and explode…

Another lame, “you weren’t here since the beginning” post.
First off, that logic is totally flawed. It does not matter if you were around since Halo:CE’s release, or if the first time you played any Halo was last night.
343i -Yoinked!- up, get over it and accept it. People have a right to be mad, they were delivered an unfinished, faulty product and they need to be held accountable for their actions.
Stop acting like immature 17 year olds (which I am sure many of you are), and understand this is a poor way to run any business.
Patience is a great virtue to have, that is correct. However, they deserve everything they are getting right now. Period.

Ha, sure… I understand what you’re saying but you’re missing the point…
There was problems at the start and there will be problems again… Just be patient… They will get sorted, like I said… I don’t reminisce over the problems that have been there…
Just the fun I had with a melee to the back of someone’s head, it could have been you!
Cheer up. Life is too short… If your tired of waiting while sh*t gets sorted, play something else…

Haha… Dude, I’m joking… Just sick of these whiny -Yoinks!- moaning about having to wait for an hour for a game…
There is more to life…
I don’t think it matters when anybody started playing Halo. I think people have a right to be upset. They were promised something on a certain day and they still don’t have it.
That said, it’s ridiculous how some people are acting. Really? You’re wanting your money back? One guy said something about rioting in the streets and I’m pretty sure he was joking but there’s a part of me that thinks he might be serious.
Matchmaking is not permanently broken. You’re going to get what you payed for. I’m not saying you don’t have a right to be upset, but getting so angry and hostile is ridiculous.
I know it sucks, but actuality is always changing. There are no guarantees in life. -Yoink- happens.

Apparently you are much better at making your point than me… This is exactly what I was trying to say…
It is games like Halo, Fifa, COD etc where you actually get your moneys worth. If you can play and play and replay you’re doing it right!
If it was a game that had no multiplayer and a short campaign I would be furious but it’s Halo and sh*t happens… Get over it.

> I usually have more of a winning mentality, but when it comes to most Halo gametypes I’m just in it to be there and enjoy myself.
Agreed… Sometimes I used to just grab myself a warthog and F4ck around…
It’s one thing to be upset, it’s another thing entirely to be completely ignorantly upset and not understand what goes into something like this and rage and riot about it.
I think it’s pretty pathetic that people are getting so aggravated about the bugs. Sure no one wants them - least of all 343 - but you often get teething trouble in games, especially ones of this size. This is nothing new. And although that doesn’t mean it’s acceptable, I can accept that the issues will be fixed soon. I’ve even taken the day off work to play the new game and it’s a shame I’m not really able to at the moment, but I am happy to wait patiently and let 343 fix the bugs, which they surely will.
I agree with being patient and everything. But I also believe if you are going to come out with a game it should be working correctly if you are going to sell a game.

Yeah, you’re not wrong. I think they should have delayed the launch to sort any issues out, rather than shipping it partially broken. That said, there is often no way of knowing what will work and what won’t immediately after launch when millions of gamers are trying to access the game’s features at the same time. I think it’s almost inevitable there will be bugs.
