Halo MCC only lets me play Reach?!

Ok, I am sure I am missing something stupid here. Forgive me…

I just bought Halo: Master Chief Collection on my PC through the Microsoft Store. I installed it and was immediately able to play Halo: Reach from the campaigns menu. I can see the following other campaigns but they are ‘greyed out’ and I can’t access them:

  • Halo: CE Anniversary - Halo 2: Anniversary - Halo 3 - Halo 3: ODST - Halo 4 - Cross-Game PlaylistsAre these other versions/releases not yet out on PC? Do I need to log in from an Xbox to access them? Or am I missing something?

Halo 2-4 are not released for PC yet but they will be throughout this year.
I’m not sure why you can’t access CEA though as that released two days ago.

You can’t access CEA because you haven’t installed it. Go into the settings and there will be an option for installed games there. :slight_smile:

Thanks so much for the responses. Ph4lanx thanks for this you were close enough that it lead me to the answer. I got it worked out.

Just in case anyone else is having issues, it is not in-game settings. You have to go to Microsoft Store, find the Halo: The Master Chief Collection game and then there is a drop down menu that allows you to install the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary game. Thanks again.

Interesting! I did mine all from in-game! Glad it works though.
