Hello everyone. I’ve been having trouble trying to open Halo: MCC. When I open it, the screen only shows the Xbox Games Studios and 343 Industries logos intro. After that, the screen just freezes on a black screen and the menu doesn’t pop up at all. So, I checked the Task manager and the game said that it wasn’t responding. Therefore, I had to end the task as that was my only way of closing Halo. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game on steam many times, and even did it on a different drive. Also, I tried opening it up in the Xbox Console Companion and that didn’t work either. Is there anyway I can solve this issue?

I seriously don’t know what to do. It was working fine until 3-4 days ago
I have the same issue
I tried:
Redownloading it.
Reinstalling windows.
Scaned for viruses.
Starting it offline
Dropping firewalls
I have been able to start the game up while it is still missing some content an I notice that each time it contains everything, it stops working again. This is such a bummer and I really wanted to play halo 3.
Did you get yours via steam?
Also ill keep an eye out for a solution and let you know if I find anything. Please keep us updated. I’m desperate.
Has anyone tried messing with the anit-cheat at all? I notice that everytime I start the game, the anti cheat progress bar zips accross the screen as if it takes no time at all. I also noticed that the bar took more time on a successful loading of the game before this black screen glitch happened.
Lastly, I looked around the web and it could be a problem with Halo 2. I heard people say this happens when they download H2 multiplayer and I am pretty sure the same thing is happening to me.

I uninstalled halo 2 multiplayer and it allowed me to play halo fine but now the only problem is the EasyAntiCheat cause it works but now i cant play multiplayer at all
