So I’ve had my copy of MCC since the beginning of this year (about) and I am still having the same issue over and over again… Whenever I try matchmaking on any of the halo playlists, I just sit in the lobby with no players coming in. Ive left myself in the lobby for over 30 minutes and still nothing has happened. Any other games I’ve played, such as destiny, have had no issue connecting me with other players. Considering I’m still unable to play the MCC matchmaking since the beginning of this year but I can still play MCC custom games with friends, I am seriously wondering what the issue is?
If you don’t find any players within the first 5 minutes back out and try searching again. If that still fails to help after a few tries do a hard reset of your xbox, then try running a search again.
It’s the low player population aswell (depending on where you live)

Thanks but I’m still not finding any players. Like Spargsy said above, is it the low population, considering I live in Australia?
I can’t even get past the “downloading latest data” part. Wonderful!

I wonder how the xbox determines the player population. Is it according to your actual physical location? or is it according to the region you have set? I have US region set based on an old address since my country isnt in the region list but Xbox live services work pretty well. Even bought a couple digital games using my visa card which pays in $'s and converts in my local currency.
I have no trouble finding games on MCC though so thats why I was kind of curious. Been hearing a lot about players not being able to play in Australia. Im in pakistan and I doubt there is a huge population of X1 owners here like in states since its costly for many but I still find matches back to back.
