This has been a problem I’ve had for over 3 weeks now and I’m fed up with this. I’m so frustrated with how 343i right now is being handled. About 2 weeks ago I sent a email about the problem I’ve been having an that problem is, the game crashing upon pressing the start button and I know something’s are not going well behind the scenes at 343i but this is just ridiculous, I haven’t been able to play this game for 3 weeks now (almost 4 ) and I’m actually getting super frustrated. I have posted about this on different forums for weeks and people have tried to help but nothing is working I’ve tried everything, and literally a day after I start having this problem on my Xbox, I get the same issues on my PC it’s just so stupid. I’m honestly about to give up on Halo and did it have to happen right before Halo 3 PC and right before Halo infinite? Oh I should point this happened a day before Halo 3 came to PC and I’ve not been able to play any of the new updates and so this problem has continued since then.
I’ve been having this issue since today’s update (29/07/2020). Was you problem solved with this last update?
I had it two days ago first and it’s still here 
Literally wasted money, since I have the game and can’t play it. Right now MCC is just a 106GB title screen for me.
I started having this issue a few days ago as well. I uninstalled and re-installed it but no luck. I updated the game with the newest patch that dropped today but it still crashes after pressing the Menu button. I’ve uninstalled it for now and will re-install when a confirmed fix is issued.

That’s what I did, I even sent them footage of the issue and still nothing back.

I’m not sure you read it correctly, I’ve had this problem since the last update (when Halo 3 PC came out and all the custom skins) and had the issue since that update.

You’ll probably want to keep it uninstalled for a while because I don’t imagine it being fixed anytime soon.
I found a “not so good” solution that works (on Xbox at least). You just need to:
Switch to the English (USA) language and USA location. Then go to the following console setting:
Settings > Ease of Access > Game Transcriptor there is an option called “Let games read to me”. If you enable it and disable it again it seems to solve the issue.
It’s really annoying because I need to change my console location and language just to play this game which is unacceptable but at least if works (for now).
I have the same problem. Looks like a group of users are affected
Is 343 industries going to fix it? or we have to do all that stuff (change region, clear that settigns…back to our region)

I actually tried that once and it didn’t work.
