Halo:MCC Infinite

I’m unaware if this is already a talking point or an idea being discussed, internally by 343, but I’d very much appreciate Halo Infinite launcing fully and seemlessly accessible through MCC. I’d take it a step further and suggest that Halo Infinite be released to MCC owners as an update to the game with it being fully integrated into MCC

Better have a large hard drive to have all that installed at once.

That’s not gonna happen. MCC is not a hub for every future game. It’s a compilation of the classic games. Adding more and more games to it is neither technically nor financially reasonable.

There’s no way they’d do that. Would be very cool though.

All future Halo releases need to be a standalone.

Sounds cool in theory but MCC has trouble running what it has now, it’s not gonna handle a brand new and hopefully improved halo game. Plus if they did that they’d have to add halo 5 and that would go horribly wrong in so many ways

Halo Infinite is to be its own game. MCC is a conglomerate of several games, none of which are presented in MCC in their entirety. Before Infinite becomes part of a collection, it deserves time in the spotlight on its own.

If Halo 5 wasn’t released as part of the MCC, neither will Infinite. It doesn’t make sense for a new game.

It can simultaneously be its own digital and hard copy game, as well as being an addition to MCC. It’s just and idea to float around. I’m sure a lot of people would actually appreciate Halo MCC adopting futures titles and evolving into a hub, which is exactly what it is right now anyway

I’m not even sure if I’ll be buying Halo Infinite, if it was to launch as an addition to the MCC, I would pass. I think Halo Infinite should launch and have it’s own place in the series. If anything, Halo Infinite should be the new hub, and old games should be added to it.
