Halo: MCC Forge: where is it?

Hello all,

My daughter enjoys playing the old Halo games, and since we got Xbox One, I decided to get the Master Chief Collection for that console. She wanted to do some PVP with me, and I thought it would be cool to make a Halo 3 map in forge, except…the M.C.C. only has Halo: C.E. and Halo 2 multiplayer maps, and there’s no Forge. The good old internet usually has the answer to any question, so I did a search, and now I’m at the end of my rope. Every forum post and article that comes up on Google either talks about the game in the future tense, saying it “will have Forge,” or claims that Halo: MCC does have Forge. I can guarantee you that my copy doesn’t.

So, how do I get the ability to build custom maps? Is it a DLC? Is there some hidden menu I haven’t found yet with Halo 3 and Halo 4 multiplayer maps and a Forge option?

Go to the multiplayer part of the menu then you should find forge. Hope this helps!

I’m having this problem as well. Did u figure it out yet?

I’ve had this same problem did u complete any campaigns if not try that and then it might unlock im currently still completing halo 4 campaign right now let me know if it works

Please don’t revive old topics thanks - the answer was also provided above. If you navigate to the Multiplayer menu you can find Forge there.
