Hello, my friend has the Halo: MCC on xbox one x downloaded. But every time he opens it up, it freezes. We wait for like 5 minutes and then it works again. Once he loads into the menu, the game either freezes and/or crashes. If I invite him, the game crashes by him. If he invites me. The game crashes by him. Guess what? If I try to join thorugh his Profile, the game freezes and then xbox gives him an error saying Halo: MCC took to long to start up. Then he gets booted back to the dashboard. I checked online for some results and apparently he is the only one currently with the issue. He said it worked all fine a month ago. But now he cant do a single thing. He has re-downloaded the game (UUn-installed and installed it). He has deleted his profile on his console and tried with another acc to play it. Didnt work out. He has deleted his save data on his profile has well and it doesnt work either. How can he fix this?

I have encountered a similar problem. So I’ve noticed that lately when I open the master cheif collection it freezes. Then I have to close the game and reopen it and then it usually works but sometimes I have to repeat the process untill it works. Now I noticed all of this started happening around the time I was playing the “Master Cheif Saga” playlist. While playing this playlist I made it all the way to level one of halo 4 “Dawn” and now everytime I open the playlist it boots me and closes as soon as it finishes loading every time. I just tried this on an other xbox one that I used to play halo mcc on and when I opened the game its started to “sync my files” and then the game crashed. I closed it I opened it and tested the “master cheif saga” and the master cheif saga playlist doesn’t work on this other xbox either. Also this xbox has never crashed halo mcc. So I have no clue if these two problems are related but it seems to have something to do with my profile on mcc. Maybe my “synced files” are corrupted or something? Why else would the game crash the moment I press a button on the main menu on two separate xboxes? Anyway I dont have an answer for you I just wanted to share my struggles with you as well. It appears my account is crashing the game. Any help or opinions would be great. Thankyou for listening to my rant!
My game crashes everytime I try to load up a game on adrift in Halo 4. It doesn’t matter if it’s in matchmaking or local. I tried clearing the cache and reinstalling halo 4 multiplayer but it didn’t help.
I fixed my bug issue by starting the level over again but in coop. If you try to play co-op it will tell you that if you play co-op you will have to restart your level. So I did that and then quit and went back in solo again. Again it said if I play solo I’ll have to restart the level. I clicked yes and restarted the level solo and I was able to play through without any bugs. Of course this was in the master cheif story playlist but it might work the same in spartan ops maybe it’s worth a shot?

I am having exactly the same problem but on pc. I thought that maybe it had something to do with windows 11. But just recently I was playing fine. I have no idea what happened. Right now I’m verifying the integrity of the files, I’ll let you know if that helps. (I dont know if in xbox you can verify the integrity of games)
After Submitting a ticket, they could not help me. The only way I fixed it was by using my antivirus vpn. I have no clue why that happens, could it be a ban? For some reason they never answered me if I was banned or not. But there you go, its unplayable with the vpn for me, but I can get into multiplayer games without the freeze/crash.

This crashing is aggravating and it’s made worse by the fact that you get banned from playing when its 343’s fault. BULL@#$%
