Halo MCC "Contacting Server" (Xbox One)

When trying to play any matching game in Halo MCC on the Xbox One, I get the “Contacting Server: Contacting Server to get the latest matchmaking data. Please Wait” message.

I have tried:

  1. Logging out in-game and switching to a different profile - Did not work
  2. Restarting the Xbox - Did not work
  3. Fully Shutting the Xbox down - Did not work
  4. Re-installing the Game - Did not work
  5. Clearing all game save data - Did not work.

Please can anyone assist me? The methods that I have seen on other forums did not work for me. I am on the Xbox One.

Same here. I wanted to play a bit while the campaign is downloading…

Yeh same problem here. Hope servers get fixed soon. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Im having the same issues on PC

Kinda sus that MCC servers go down the day the release Infinite :confused:

same thing on PC. how did the release of infinite campaign break the MCC matchmaking servers?

at least the custom game browser is working.

Same here. It’s almost 11pm mountain time and still having the issue. I was just playing late last night, just started having the issue today.

I was having that issue earlier (also on Xbone), and just restarting the game fixed it for me.

Was fine today and seems to be back to happening again. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Edit: Seems to be random since now back into matchmaking.
