So I’ve been grinding all day just to find out that some of my challenges have reset and have started from the beggining. Is this happening to more people ???

Yes this has happened to me multiple times. For me its every time I relaunch the game. However for me once I complete the challenges they stay completed. I hope they get it resolved soon.

Has been happening to me as well. Hope it doesn’t have anything to do with sync issues from switching between console and PC. Really disheartening when progress is lost on completing challenges. I’d rather not waste anymore time trying to complete them until this is resolved. Hopefully this will be soon.

Indeed. For me the worst is by far the MP3 Player challenge which tasks you to complete matchmade games. I did almost 50 yesterday alongside doing the campaign and firefight ones, just to see it reset to 0 when I turned the game on this morning.

Yep. This exact same thing happens to me. Four times already. I get a huge amount of progress completed for it all just to be reset down to 0. I don’t know how they expect me to get the challenges down in 1 sitting. I’m tempted to just completely stop playing halo MCC.

Same here, every time I launch the game my progress has reset. making it really difficult to unlock the new skull for me because I am not doing that in one sitting. Happening on both Xbox and PC versions.

You can do it in like 10 minutes man. Just load up Crows Nest, go to the first part with drones hop on the turret to the left, mow em down and revert to checkpoint. Wash rinse repeat about 10 times and voila, new skull.

Honestly didn’t think of that. I’ll give that a try, thanks. For some reason, I had it in my head that only Jet Pack Brutes counted.

No problem man! It feels icky to cheese the challenges but after they reset my challenges almost 10 times it seemed fair lmao Cheers mate

I ground that one out by just doing the last mission and having Arby shoot every sentinel lol never finish the mission, just reset checkpoints or die every so often. I found it best to do it just before jumping the warthog. But of course I’d already got about halfway through the challenge by the time I reached the level.
If the challenges are being restarted, try signing out and sign back in inside the game (this is what I’ve been doing to refresh the challenges).
