Hey all, Im getting back into halo and I’m having a difficult time with beating halo 2 on legendary difficulty, Ideally I’d love to get it done in under the 3 hour mark for that extra achievement but any help would be greatly appreciated, would anybody be so kind to assist me with the campaign please?

I play on xbox one and my GT is xUntildawnx

Just a few pointers I’ve learned playing Heroic and Legendary difficulty:

  • The n00b combo is your friend. Try to keep a plasma pistol handy to take out shields so you can make quick work of stronger adversaries. - If you see a power weapon on the map, use it. Chances are, the devs put that weapon there for a reason. - If you’re getting stuck on one particular section, reset and look for an alternative route. I’ve died a dozen times in one area, only to find out later that there was a better vantage point. - Always be aware of the spawn points for Jackal snipers. These can often feel random, but there are particular sections where they will be waiting for you. - Try to give your marine allies good weapons. Carbines and BRs in their hands are very effective at providing cover fire.

Still having trouble?
Recently did it under 3 hours on Legendary.
Check out HaloCompletionist’s guides on the Monopolized achievment. I can’t swear, but there is a chance that the “save and quit” glitch works for avoiding time loss, I’m not sure. It works in CE but I had already completed h2 under 3h before I noticed that so I might have made it harder than I had to, worth a try.
If you just want to get through it though and finding it really hard still then you can give me a shout, H2 is homefield. But I am not doing Monopolized again lmao. Either way you want to get very comfortable with Legendary before you go for that I think.

Thank you for the advice guys, iv tried several times and watched several guides but some levels just hate me, these guides definitely make it look easier than what it really is. Iv finished all on legendary, just gotta trim down my times.
