This problem started yesterday. I started up mcc and everything was normal until I jumped into a campaign mission. It was like the brightness was all the way down but when I checked, it was just where I left it. I went back to the main menu and it was normal, until I jumped into a matchmaking game. It did the same thing. It doesn’t matter where the brightness is set it still goes dark and I can barely see my weapon. MCCs menu is completely normal though, no problems. Someone please tell me what’s going on because I can’t play MCC due to this problem.
I’m not having that issue. Windows Store version - I went into Halo CE campaign first level to check.
It would be worth your while posting which version, game and level etc so others can offer suggestions for you.
Meanwhile, I’d suggest heading over to the Halo Support site and submitting a ticket for this

Xbox One. I tried Halo 4 the level dawn, and Halo 3 the level Sierra 117. I also tried CGB which did it too. But as I said the menu, customization and seasonal pass and challenges I have no problem.

OK I just went in on Xbox One and tried both of those levels. No issue for me.
Have you tried quitting the game (highlight the tile on the dashboard, press select to view options, select quit)?
Restart the console?
Other than that I’ve got nothing.
