So I bought the game in November 2014 and I thought of redownloading game today . And it said I need to buy this game. I talked to Xbox support and they said the version of the game I purchased has been removed from the store and I should talk directly to 343 studios .
My question is how is this possible ? And is there anyway to get MCC back . It is showing up on my Xbox purchase history as well.
The game being removed from the store wouldn’t affect your purchase history at all, there would still be a reference to it there. If it’s not showing then it’s possible that you purchased it on another account
The game shows up in my purchase history on the Xbox/MS website.
However I cannot download the MCC version currently available on the Xbox console .
Oh, sorry I misread your initial message. I imagine this is because of the updates being made to MCC that are being released December 3rd. I’ll double check this one for you.
I believe the game should still show up in the “Ready to install” section of your Xbox. Navigate to “My games and Apps” and then into that section and MCC should be listed under there
No the game isn’t listed in the ready to install section.

I am in the exact same boat here and I am pissed. I am a day 1 purchaser and now it’s asking me to buy it again and it doesn’t even show up in my “ready to install” or “owned games”.
Same boat. Looking for answers. I bought the MCC Xbox one, so tried putting the code in and it just said its been used. If i want to pay 50$ to buy it again i can, but wtf.
I purchased this game January 26 2020. I deleted it to make space for other games and now i wanna play it again. However the Microsoft store wants me to purchase the game again or resubscribe to game pass. It also doesnt show in my games and apps or ready to install section. I thought microsoft would have fixed this ongoing issue by now. I am pissed because i basically wasted my money.
Seems like this issue has not been resolved… Same problem here. Paid for the disk with the games on it and now (after 6 years) I’m being asked to pay for play again.
I have the same issue with my friend here. I wanted to play some cross-play with him, and he had purchased MCC a few years back. Now, after redownloading MCC, it is asking him to purchase each individual game. pls fix.

Having this issue currently and I’ve ran out of patienc. I will be taking Microsoft to court for this scam artistry and I will be selling all of my Xbox products.
