When the Halo 2 update came out, I tried installing it but it error’d, forcing my game to uninstall. I try re-installing the game now but it keeps error’ing or freezing the windows store page.
Even weirder is this “Available updates” is still lingering even though I don’t have the game installed: https://i.imgur.com/M21T3BA.png
But now after restarting my computer a couple of times, I’ve come across this lovely message when attempting to install the game now: https://i.imgur.com/PnE9RJb.png Along with seeing this in my “In the download queue” when I constantly try to click on the retry button: https://i.imgur.com/oaGV6oN.png
I’ve went through the “Apps and Features” window and tried searching for Halo, but it’s saying it’s not there at all. AFTER I did all of this, I went to https://support.halowaypoint.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039997432-Halo-The-Master-Chief-Collection-Known-Issues and went to delete the folder at C:\Users<UserName>\AppData\LocalLow\MCC. Alas, I’m still stuck in the current situation where they all keep error’ing when trying to install and that one random “Available updates” up there. Oh, and when I do click on that available update, it just doesn’t do anything.

32 GB of RAM

I have the same problem trying to install even with a clean install of windows 10. What region are you from I’m from AUS I have a theory that it’s a server issue for specific regions. Both Microsoft store and Halo support are washing thier hands of the problem Halo support said they don’t offer support for installation issues and Microsoft said it’s a problem with my computer and they cannot offer support for that. So it’s up to us users to find the cause.
