Halo MCC Achievements

As an avid achievement hunter of all the games I play I love a good challenge when it comes to achievement gathering. That being said, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is an absolute challenge when it comes to achievement gathering. I’ve been cranking on it for years playing a lot and at the same time not playing at all for periods of time.

I have 4070 out of 7000 gamerscore which amounts to 432 achievements. Which is only 58% of the total amount of achievements.

I’m just curious what are your stats and thoughts on this? Does anyone have every single one? How many times have I said achievements in the post?

I have 683/700. Most of the one’s I have left are the LASO playlist ones, and 2 of the speedrunning achievements. Also have the 2 Reach lone wolf point challenges. I’ll get around to em’ someday soon I hope!

A good number of players have em all (me included). The hardest ones are LASO, speed running, and fusion coil kills. With enough patience and effort you’ll finish them all.

If we’re going off trueachievements’ stats, around 1767 people in the world have every achievement in the game. It’s not 100% accurate as not every gamer is on that website but it’s probably a decent representation.

I also have every achievement in this game. I got them all long before Reach was added and then finished the list again with the Reach specific ones. The LASO achievements are definitely among the hardest. The multiplayer matchmaking ones, such as getting 100 fusion coil kills, were difficult and time consuming. I got all those by setting up boosting sessions on true achievements. They still took many, many hours to do over multiple sessions.

I have all 700 achievements and to be honest as long as you have a plan to knock them out it becomes easier. LASO will take you a number of days so plan on that as well. I am completed CE LASO in 1 day but it was non-stop dying lol

imo no stats mean anything (multiplayer asisde) except spartan ops legendary , legendary under 3 hours or having laso rest are litterally like " fINd 100 colLEctiBles " or " boost multiplayer with ur buddys bcs this achievement is litterally impossible to play or will take thousands of hours of multiplayer doing a singular thing " or a really easy challenge this is in my opinion dont feel offended that u got 10,000 medals and im saying that "doesnt mean anything " but this is through my expeirences

i hav 100% mcc and yeh keep watching this guy: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQONwHXW4uVPlYioqMzrU0Q and you should be fine

Halo Completionist’s videos are very helpful, I’m proud to of even got 667 achievements on my own, still got 13 par scores, laso etc to get, doubt I’ll ever get em all without help, but I’m happy and still slog away at it, certainly need alot of patience lol

Me & a buddy of mine finished our 700/700 for MCC at the very start of 2020. It was certainly a grind but it’s definitely possible.

There’s not many actually super challenging achievements as most of them are just fodder, “complete x mission” or get the par score & time for each. The 700 looks more intimidating than it actually is.
LASO can be done co op but doing it takes a lot of patience. Find someone you’re comfortable playing with for hours and hours.
Legendary speed runs are often best done solo, co op isn’t really ideal for a lot of the tricks and specific checkpoints you need to hit.

When I checked TrueAchievements at the time I think we were the 830th people to get the completion. Since then I haven’t checked the completion stat for the game.

I have about the same as yourself… Nearly 60% done.

I’m using the achievements to collect points for Microsoft rewards which enables me to get free Xbox live… (it’s not much I know but it gives me purpose besides enjoying the game)
So I’m very thankful for the vast amount of achievements for myself to work through.

Currently working through the par time and par score, although I do have a few intel and skulls to pick up, which I save for easy pickings - quick achievements when needed.

Got them all.

I am at 659 out of 700. Mainly have LASO and multiplayer achievements left to complete. Wanted to note that some of the achievements can only be unlocked on certain days of the year so be sure to look up the achievements that you can unlock on Halloween since it is just a few days away. I know of Elder Signs and Destination Vacation and there may be some more so give it a search. Halo Completionist on YouTube has been a huge help for tips and tricks to make the achievement hunt easier.

I too have all the achievements, I enjoyed the grind although I started back when MCC was still broken, many frustrating nights of lost progress due to weird bugs and issues, I believe they are ironed out now that MCC has been overhauled! If you are looking to get them all I would recommend Halo Completionist on YouTube he has guides for nearly all the halo achievements to date.
