Halo MCC 2A achievements: Anyone w/ 4 controllers?

Achievements boosting, since I can’t find 8 people playing this game online… I have 4 controllers.

Yes sir. What achievements are you looking for?

All achievements relating to matchmaking on Halo MCC are of my interest.

…really? Why not just play matchmaking and earn them?

Because the achievements are still bugged and have a tendency to reset, which takes the achievement out of the “achievements” and turns it into a crapshoot.

Never heard of that. I’ve never had an issues with them

Just checked the achievements, and they’re mostly related to playtime. Way too much coordination in between two people and eight controllers, sorry dude. I don’t have that kind of time.

I’ve heard of this happen too, which frightens me. But I’ve also not had issues, as of yet.

The medal-based achievements are what really seem to get hit. They will either reset completely, or will reset a portion of your progress. 343 created a dedicated thread for reporting achievement issues on the MCC forum back in July.

I’ve been hit by it a few times. You can check your achievement progress and see where you stand toward that goal. But then you can check your medal chest(or whatever its called) and see the actual numbers of medals that should be counting toward the achievement.

Because some of those game modes are empty, no one plays anymore. You need 8 players to start a match but you don’t find one. 343 isn’t very smart.

They’re very smart, MCC just wasn’t executed well

I mean, they could fix it and make the gamers pleased, but they don’t do it. We have to organize boosting sessions to finish the game we paid for.

You have to do the same thing for games that go further back to like Halo 3 and Reach which both have Matchmaking Achievements that are only obtainable through DLC maps. They could fix it but it would mean spending time and money on a game they’ve moved passed to focus on the future

The difference between MCC and games like Halo 3 and Reach is that Halo 3 and Reach were properly supported throughout their lifetimes. MCC was given up on while it was still less than a year old. We haven’t seen a single patch or bugfix released since before Halo 5 launched.

There was a patch/update that was released just over a month or so ago, maybe two months. My concept of time has become pretty bad.

There was a playlist update in July, not a patch or a bugfix. There was also a playlist update and a server-side tweak to matchmaking in January where they removed the rank restrictions for matchmaking; so not a patch or a bugfix either.

It was patched as best they could before leaving it be. It wasn’t exactly a fresh installment for the Halo franchise, it was all remastered. Oh by the way, 343 didn’t even work on 100% of it. Different games were done by different companies that 343 hired to handle. It wasn’t executed well but its still pretty cool

Sure, it wasn’t a fresh installment to the series. But for a huge chunk of Halo’s fans, it’s a better installment than what we got in Halo 5; even with it being left unfinished.

You’re right. I enjoy MCC even though it is buggy. Not many old school players around anymore
