I pre purchased when microsoft store had the deal where if you prepurchase it, you get a 10$ gift card for upcoming holiday titles. The code did not work. So come November 11th, broken game, code still not working nor any 15,000 credits received.
So I went to support at Xbox. They referred me to go to the Microsoft store instead. Every chat session I did was ironically with a female and she didn’t do jack -Yoink-. First Bianca says she cant help me so she’ll refer me to a higher specialist. She refers me to a french representitve which then tries to let me her help me with her English. Took 1 hour for all of this to unfold.
I gave up and called… and got some foreigner who kept mumbling… Indian but not that thick of accent. He finally said he will escalate the situation since the code is not working and I will be notified in 42 hours.
I can’t even contemplate beginning to refund my hard copy.
I’m going to go insane.
