Now I return and will do the same.

Review #1 Haloside 050 by smileanddealwithit
While the first minute of voice acting is some what lacking the rest Is pretty good. The music pops in and is half the time just random adding to the hilarity. You won’t know when to laughed or go “Powned”.

Its basically about BS Angel going on betrayal spree and destroying any chance of her team getting a score higher then -100. From Robots to hunters, from Rooster teeth to Great music. This has every thing for every one.

I think if the actors on the blue team spoke louder and said things a little more clear it would of came out a lot better.
Also I thought it was really weird at points and creeped me out.

I give it a good 3.9 out of 5
Haloside 050

Review #2 Catalyst by FSMG productions
A new starting machinama so far with 2 episodes and 2 prequels to describe the main characters.
The plot so far is a squad of ODST’s were deployed on reach to help stop the covenant. Soon they are sent on a Simple Recon mission. Mean while a treasure hunter named Williams is being held prisoner by a evil master mind. Soon William escapes landing on a military base. Apon landing he meats a commander who shares the same hate for this person. This leads to a small chance for William to get some payback. This soon entwines him with the ODST’s but all else is un certain.

The first episode has little feeling to parts which need it the most. Not to mention how the music over tones almost every thing and some times is holding the machinama back. Player movement is a little lazy but I can say it’s far better then most machinamas.

I give it a good 4.5 out of 5

Review #3 Campfire Stories by MeanScreenProduction
A small time Machinama made by amateur film makers, that sadly shows.

The plots simple. 3 friends sit around a camp fire telling storys as one with friends would when camping. Each episode is a new story making for a wild and inventive thing to watch.

This Machinama has great potential but needs a lot of work to make it. For one the voices came in ether to late or early to the head nodding. This made it hard to follow the characters and sometimes made it seem the characters switched voices. Next was the sound editing. Sounds ether stopped suddenly or were to loud. for example at one time a gun fight started at first quiet but then as the gun fight comes to a end the sound goes full blast almost busting my ears. Next is character movement. While for the most part it stayed good there were just some parts that did horrible and just made me as a reviewer cringe my teeth. One such thing was the Scooby Doo moment where one of the spartans had walked in front and turned to check whats behind them when if he had just turned around slowly and turned back with the camera facing both there heads it would of made it seem a little funny.

A helpful tip is to check the sounds before saying your finished. This way you can change the volume and make it fit more. also record the background sound to certain things. Like a explosion. This way the sound comes in fully and won’t be suddenly stopped.

With hard work this could get good but as of now
A 2.3 out of 5

Review #4 Pandemic
Halo 3 and Halo Reach machinama made by BlackShardProduction
Voice acting could be done better and enthusiasm is needed for some characters but plot and action are well used to the point that you could see what they were going for and get past the bad voice acting in season 1. While You in no way could call the first a master peace you can say its one of the better and more harder worked on machinamas for the halo 3 list. Last I must add they choice a great song to be there theme and it works on many levels.

In the second season (so far with 5 episodes) Voice acting was made better and they added some special effects to add to the glare (not many just picture movements but it adds to character). Forge was wisely used and proven to be useful. Not much to be said so far as it resonantly started

The theme of season 1 is that 2 friends Nathan and Riley are stuck in ghost town trying to survive a zombie apocalypse intell they find another named Stephen. Soon after Nathan leaves because of a fight with Stephen. Because of this Stephen and Riley start a hunt to save him meeting new friends, fighting aliens and trying to save Nathan.

In season 2 things get more interesting when the main antagonist from season 1 comes back to start another infection. Once agien are heros must save the world but is it possible they won’t make it tune in and find out.

I give it 3 and a half stars out of five and would give it a watch any time
Season 1
Season 2

Pleace post your machinamas and I will get to work reviewing them to help you in all ways I can

Anyways here is the link:

Review #3 Campfire Stories season 2 by MeanScreenProduction

Resonantly Campfire stories reached season 2 but have they improved.
First off the plot from the original that was just a few friends telling stories went to how those friends met to tell the stories. This takes away the old “Its a story any thing goes” rule but allows them to explore the characters and give them their own story instead of one they make.

SO plot wise alot has changed. From a story book to a prequel of the makers of that story book. Its like if you read a story by mother goose and then read another story about where mother goose got her ideas. (actually… Mother goose did do that? huh…) SO plot wise story is improved greatly. no longer random but steady and well paced

The original Characters are back but now they seem to have a means to do things. originally just story tellers telling how they see the other characters making us think like them we now see how the characters are in their own wright. Also, because its a prequel back story is finally given to them telling use just how they came to be. Last season characters had trouble using their own voice at times trading it with another. That I can gladly say is no where found (so far) except the occasional Head bobbing after they stopped speaking.

SO Character is also improved. Greatly. This makes you invested into them and actually now understand why they do things.

Last I guess is scenery. Last season and this one both seem to have great scenery, BUT, Once we hit action scenes every thing looks forced. I mean, its great when in a normal scene but then we go to a big battle and nothing looks like it was placed there naturally. Its obvious every thing was just placed so the action that happens just happens. The alien base we see in the beginning looks nothing like a base would. It looks like a pre-K kid had just played with blocks. There was even a scene where a elite had purposely side stepped so he would be killed by the explosion.

SO scenery is great in a settle setting but once bullets fly it looks far to forced.

In season one I only gave it 2.5 out of 5 a rather harsh ratting
In this I can see the producer has put care into it and may even one day make it perfect if there is such a meaning
I give it a 4.5 out of 5
