The game feels like Halo 3. Yes the BP isn’t the best and the store offerings and pricing suck, but otherwise the game is fun and feels like Halo. OP just sounds like they don’t like progress and meaningful additions to the sand box.

Agreed. Sprint, slide, clamber have changed halo for the worse. I know what you mean about the commando. First time I saw that gun, it looked and felt generic to me. Doesn’t really fit in the halo universe. As much as I like the move away from Halo 5, making the spartan abilities equipment to pick up doesn’t really equate the same as equipment in Halo 3. I actually really enjoy the grappleshot and repulsor on its own but they make the sandbox and the game itself more arcady. People say halo was arcady but i’d argue by Halo 3, it was very realistic for a sci-fi shooter. Even the strafing in this game is like Apex. Slippery fast strafing with no accel or decel when you change directions. It’s a free to play shooter with a halo skin to generate $$$.
Don’t forget 343 IS Microsoft. Literally the only time I’ve heard of a company created for the sole purpose of continuing a franchise. (and the Coalition, for the same reason)

What I just said reminded me of Destiny, which hasn’t had an identity in over 7 years. Maybe it’s time 343 separates themselves from Bungie.

Summary
I see everybody’s getting fed up with Halo just as much as I am. I made a poll in the general discussion about why Bonnie Ross should be fired. And Joseph should be in charge because he comes from that old mentality of the players should come first and the good all days of halo.

I tell you what the Grapple Hook has done to the campaign. Made it too easy. I remember when vehicles were actually troublesome foes.

not sure if you’ve ever been outside or just live on the internet, but in real life, if somebody makes a comment about you, you go to that person and talk to them directly.
You said something about me that was not true and I corrected you. Now you want to cop out and say you weren’t talking to me.

You know what the huge difference is between me and you, and this is not a question. I don’t have a need to defend myself or prove anything to anyone. I’m content with who I am.
When anyone looks at this forum, 90% of it is talking crap about the game. Poor leadership leads to poor development and the posts on this forum prove it. it may not all be constructive feedback, but it’s not hard to read what someone is actually saying and ignore the petty things you people dwell on. I just put things out there and how anyone takes it is up to them.

I think more people have now decided enough is enough and given up on 343. They are basically incapable of delivering the best for the franchise and continue to disrespect fans. It’s good to see such negativity towards them because there’s obviously no point being constructive or respectful to them anymore

Fixed that for you. I don’t see 1 million peak players or anywhere close to that number. Some Halo 2/Halo 3 gameplay, new maps, improve the graphics if possible but it’s not important, and this game would be one of the greatest games again. But nah lets pretend 343 did a good job just to be super nice.
