Re-watching halo legends origins segment really gives me chills listening to Cortana talk on and on about human’s (and other species’) primal tendencies to wage war. If you haven’t seen Halo legends origins part I and II I recommend watching it after beating Halo 5. They’ve had this story plot in motion since 2010, and its crazy to see Cortana talking the way she did, back then it didn’t seem to have any meaning. Who knows, maybe there’s something bigger like Cortana being controlled by someone or something else, but from the story as it stands, Origins is pretty chilling.
