Halo Legends:
Odd One Out
We’re introduced to Spartan 1337. He is a clumsy and somewhat caukey individual. The Story starts out as Spartan 1337 falls out of the back of a Pelican dropship. Literally falls. I mean he trips and falls out. MasterChief comments that 1337 does this sort of thing all the time and that he’ll be fine until they can pick him up. Radio communication is lost with the Chief and 1337 stumbles across four children that live on the planet with their momma onboard an old downed UNSC Frigate.
The story continues as a bio-engineered Brute arrives to destroy the Spartan. After some fighting between Spartan 1337 and the Brute occurs, two of the older children join in on the fight. Both of the older children exhibiting traits of a Spartan without armor keep up in the fighting doing more damage to the Brute than 1337 seemed to be doing. The Brute eventually falls to the 3. It seemed that the battle is over.
All of a sudden, the Bio-Engineered Brute stands up and starts to exhibit the features of a charging bomb which alerts Momma who turns out to really be the UNSC Frigates old AI. She opens a space rift and then fired the ships MAC Gun right at the Brute hurling him into the rift and thus defending her children from any threat that the Brute may have been.
Radio Communications are reestablished with the Chief and 1337 leaves. The children once again safe go to their Momma and have dinner.

Which UNSC Frigate was it?
Who are the children and how do they exhibit such power to be a match with Spartan 2’s?

Too bad. That would’ve made an interesting twist to everything we see in the universe

It would have been incredibly stupid if it was canon. Bungie made clear from the start it was a shounen parody, nothing more, nothing less.
