We all know the Halo Legends short films and I think it would be perfect to promote some more films on the way to Halo Infinite. There are some studios that I think would do an amazing job with Halo.
For example… Ufotable: Fate/stay night, Fate/Zero, Demon Slayer, God Eater, etc.
And what about some Halo Infinite live action shorts films? That may be a good idea too, I have some good directors in mind: Neill Blomkamp, Gareth Edwards or Ridley Scott.
I think to promote and expand the story of Halo Infinite would be a good idea. What do you think?
Maybe in the future. While some of the Halo Legends shorts were pretty cool, some of them had a very liberal artistic style that really clashed with the established universe. Namely Elites with human like mouths WTF was that. Live action shorts are pretty underwhelming, might as well do an episodic series like the Halo TV show in development or Forward unto Dawn. Funny enough Ridley Scott’s studio was involved with Halo Nightfall which is my second to last least favorite series right above Fall of Reach. Blomkamp almost made a Halo film, but MS bailed and he made District 9 instead.
Good point, if i need to choice it would be a Halo anime by Ufotable and live action commercials about Halo Infinite for promotional purposes only.
Why that studio? Simple, It’s my favorite anime studio and their fight scenes are some of the best animated,1 season of 8 chapters would be enough i think and they would be loyal to the game.
A Halo Legends 2 would be awesome. There has been a significant focus on Infinite-related lore being pushed out by 343, understandably. But it would be nice to see some new content surrounding other aspects of the lore. A series of short stories would be perfect for this. Throw in something related to Infinite of course, but 343 could expand on other parts of the Halo universe as well.
I’m still hoping for something related to the Rainforest Wars. I’ve been diving deep into the Expanse series (it’s an Amazon Prime show, but I’m reading through the sixth book of the series it’s based on right now). One of the things I love about the Expanse is the focus on the middle portion of human expansion into the stars. We have a lot of sci-fi surrounding humanity as a space-faring race that has colonized at least a sizable chunk of the galaxy, and a good amount about humanity in the near future. But very little content focuses on the interim where humans are focused on colonizing just their home Solar System.
There’s a lot of potential to focus on the Domus Diaspora in Halo.
Could be possible. I liked Halo Legends. It was definitely unique and interesting.
