I know this question has been asked a million and one times but I want Official sources.

I dont know what you are asking. But I will guess.

Halo Legends is Canon.(bar “Odd One Out”) With artistic Licence here and there.
Source:Frankie Interview.

There is also stuff expanded upon from Halo Legends in the bonus content at the end of The Fall of Reach 2010 copy.

Hunt the Truth even expands on the story of Homecoming a little more during Season 1.

So yea its canon

All of them are canon except for some artistic licenses. The episode “Odd One Out” isn’t canon at all…

Halo: The Fall of Reach (2010 edition) references The Package.

Halsey’s Journal references Homecoming and Prototype.

Halo 2 Anniversary’s terminals reference The Duel.

Origins may not be 100% canon because Cortana didn’t know everything about the Forerunner-Flood war and she is rampant.

The only episode not to have a direct mention in other media is The Babysitter, I think.

PROOF THAT THEY ARE CANON.

It’s referenced. The ruins on Heian are mentioned in Halo: Evolutions “From the Office of Dr. William Arthur Iqbal”.

Oh, neat then. Thanks for the info, I have yet to read Evolutions.

everything is canon including Odd One Out.
OOO is the reason Halo 5 has several GEN 2 Mjolnir randomly found around like the new Shinobi one.
Those were created for the Spartan kids.

Now that’s just not true, shame on you.

I think that Prototype is mentioned in various canonical works, besides Halsey’s Journal. The Halo Encyclopedia makes reference to Mark I, II, and III prototypes. Other books and characters make reference to seeing some sort of powered armor in action on Algolis (And I think that is the planet upon which prototype takes place). Halo: Evolutions I think it was, made reference to having to enforce the Cole protocol on on some prototype armor on Algolis, but it was made harder by someone using it.

But yeah, all episodes of Legends are canonical, with the exception of Odd One Out.
