I wanted to start this discussion just to give and hear feedback from everyone who is a part of Fireteam Apollo. I also feel being able to read this will help new recruits decide on if they want to join the team!
I’ve been a founding member of the Halo Loot Crate and absolutely love it! I feel the pricing is right, the content both attracts the casual AND hardcore Halo fan, and is perfect for any collector and supporter of the franchise.
What items would you guys like to see? what themes? Best pro? Worst con? Please put it here and lets all discuss!
For me personally, I’d like to see a Noble Team theme and a Halo World Championship Series theme. Also PLEASE keep the in-game content exclusives coming I LOVE the sticker skins!
Anyone who would like to take a gander at, join, and be a part of this bi-monthly awesomeness can go here!

I’ve been there since they announced it, and have to say it’s pretty all right. Money is no object to me, so if you’re looking for an opinion on the value of the objects in the crate, I’m not your man.
Cons: In-game content exclusives are meh. I play a limited amount of Halo 5, so they don’t excite me that much but I’d say keep 'em in. I’ll never need another pin or iron-on patch again in my life, so safe to say I could do without them. The Keyes shirt was pretty hokey, as was the letter opener (can’t really say I have ever used a letter opener in my life despite the massive amount of bills I get). The plasma grenade mug being not microwave or dishwasher safe I feel like was a giant mistake, all it takes is accidentally putting it one of those two normal appliances and you’re in for some fun. I also don’t much care for the constant TOP SECRET documents - no they’re not really top secret, yes I know it cost 25 cents for you to include them, and they’re usually bent.
Pros: Despite not being appliance safe, the mug is a pretty cool idea. The statues are made pretty well provided you don’t bend them in any weird directions, and are cool display pieces. If you like DLC, then there’s always some right up your alley. I really like the lounge wear (pants and t-shirt) plus the hoodie. Gives me something to wear for when I take days off work for a new Halo release. I’ve worn them quite often and they’re holding up pretty well integrity wise, so the material isn’t that cheap. The posters are cool, gives me something to hang up and add to the Halo posters I already have.
Overall I can’t say I’m disappointed - I’m always excited to see what’s in them, and whether it’s something silly or something useful. A Reach theme would be pretty cool, but I definitely could do without a HCS theme. Wouldn’t mind a Chief and Cortana theme, a RvB theme, or a Forerunner theme.

Dude this is fantastic and detailed…I can understand the little things like the mug and the documents…but I can also see it from someone who LOVES the lore (me) about having and collecting these type of things…Like when Halo Reach came out with Halsey’s journal - I practically studied that thing!
I have never gotten the Legendary loot crate for Halo. I hope it does have cool stuff in it though and I have heard along about little figures\statues you get and I might have to get one sometime or someday. I would like to see more Legendary loot crates for more games.
