Wouldn’t it be awesome if there were emblems, color schemes, armor, etc that were unlockable based on past Halo achievements or accolades?
Like at 5,000, 7500 and 10000 Halo Gamerscore is a sick color scheme
Or Halo 3 50 rank gives a unique emblem
Or Halo Reach Inheritor rank gave some weapon skins
Little stuff like that would be a great addition and get people playing older Halos too (maybe not online anymore but still)
Considering they just -Yoink!- the matchmaking down for the classic games I think some of those ideas may set members of the community off since they can no longer obtain them. 
Maybe they could have some tie-ins with MCC though

Yeah some might get upset but if I mean Halo 3 and 4 are 10+ years old. If you didn’t get the rank by now, it wasn’t happening. But tie ins with MCC would be cool too. LASO Campaigns and what not.
Yeah I guess my main point was there is already a lot of hostility from the community, so putting content in the game that can no longer be earned would start a riot. 
If legacy content was available for having a 50 in halo 3 I’d be mad haha. I haven’t played halo 3 ranked since I was like 12, my gaming skills weren’t as good then I think I got a few 44s tho
I’ve said something similar before, I think, but it would be nice if you could get all of the cosmetics from the MCC.
Even if you had to get achievements in it to unlock them.

Before Gears 5 came out they came out with several different challenges for Gears 4 that would reward you with character skins, boost, weapon skins and more. I thought it was a great idea and was hoping Halo Infinite would have something similar.
Nope. The best we got was an impossible to achieve reward for reaching rank 152 in Halo 5. What a squandered opportunity.

Way back in old Xbox Waypoint, we unlocked armors for other games, by playing other games, like unlocking armors in Reach by playing 3 or Spartan Assault. You even unlocked armors for your Xbox Avatar, which I still wear. Old Xbox Waypoint was the best Waypoint. Even the stats and medal tracker was fantastic, and the GUI was beautiful. IIRC it worked all the way up to Halo 4. The current 343 version is an atrocity. We should be able to unlock stuff in Infinite by playing MCC, because if you completed Legendary on all campaigns, you got a nameplate, like 152 on H5 unlocks Watchdog. The cross-code clearly exists. 343 just isn’t Bungie enough to do that for fans.
